I’ve been looking for something like these arm Spanx for the longest time. I’ve purchased long sleeve layering tees in all sorts of materials but haven’t found any that were quite right for layering like these arm Spanx are. They really are perfect for layering. I’m obsessed with them! You can buy them here.
I get a lot of questions about my stroller. It’s made by Bugaboo and the style is called “Donkey”. I’ve tried three of Bugaboos strollers, the buffalo, the chameleon, and the donkey. This one is my favorite because of the side basket. It’s a bit heavier than the other two but the side luggage basket is SUPER useful. It fits in the trunk of my car pretty easily; I drive a 2015 Mercedes C300. I only have one baby but this is a double stroller. It converts to comfortably fit 2 kids from infancy to toddlers. If you have it in mono mode, for just one kid, you can use the side luggage basket. This stroller is on the high end of the price scale but it’s well worth it. The side basket is super useful when I’m out shopping or just for holding the diaper bag. The stroller has great suspension, it glides on sidewalks and is also pretty smooth on dirt and grass. I get tons of questions and compliments on this stroller almost every single time I’m out with it. Athena and I love our Bugaboo Donkey stroller. Full review coming soon!
I’ve been looking for a nice play mat thick enough to help cushion baby’s head since it’s still wobbly at times. I scoured the internet for a few hours and after reading countless reviews, this is by far the best play mat for everyday use. Here’s why I love this play mat.
It’s 1/2 an inch thick.
Large playmat (83″ x 55″)
Not coated in any harsh chemicals.
Easy to move around.
Rolls up for easy storage.
Great price point.
And the print is SUPER cute!
This near the top end of the price spectrum BUT this is one of few play mats that are thick and cushiony and cover a wide area. I wanted a large play mat because my baby just started rolling around and I don’t want her to end up on the floor. I have a smaller, fabric play mat that she uses but I have to keep repositioning her when she rolls off of it. The thickness of this play mat is perfect. Keep in mind that when your baby starts rolling over and crawling, their heads are still a bit wobbly and they tend to crash down onto the floor. This was a big worry for me but not anymore with this mat, it’s very squishy and does a great job cushioning a blow to the head.
I like how large it is. I placed it in front of my sectional in the living room for now, not sure where its permanent place will be but it’s easy to move around. This play mat is suitable from birth and up. I know she’ll get a lot of use out of this mat for a long time to come. I think this is the best mat especially for the price. The top price range is around $150 and the lowest priced mats I found were around $25 but they’re small and made of fabric. This is one is only $89.99, the shipping is free, and if you sign up for the email list, you’ll receive a 20% off coupon, bringing the total under $80 (including tax).
This is one of my go-to outfits: drawstring bottoms with a tank top and a comfy sandal. This time I opted for all black to make a casual but put-together outfit and a lightweight top to protect my skin from the sun. These James Perse tank tops are the best, they come in a bunch of different colors, they’re soft, stretchy, and they last forever. I’ve had some for over 4 years now.
You guys, these Zella leggings are seriously the best workout leggings ever. No joke. I’ve been searching for a good pair of leggings to work out in, specifically for running, and I hadn’t found a good pair until these. I even splurged on a pair of running-specific leggings from a major athletic brand and they would still start to slide down as I ran. This put me off running since I couldn’t really get far enough before I had to stop and pull my leggings up, so annoying. I’ve worked out in these Zella leggings several times now and I LOVE THEM. They are great for general training, running, and yoga.
I think one of the reasons I have a hard timing finding workout leggings that work well for me is because I have wide hips and thick legs. This often leads me to size up in order to get a good fit on the legs and be able to get the leggings over my thighs but then the waist is too big. These Zella leggings don’t give me that problem. They slide over my hips, are perfectly snug in the legs and the waist! Having the additional waist-tie helps secure them so they don’t slide down when I run, although I haven’t found the waist-tie necessary with these because the fit is so great.
They also have a great amount of stretch without being shiny or see through. And they have slant pockets, which I love! They’re super flattering too! I’m definitely ordering a second pair. You can shop them here.
These reversible totes are on sale for $20! They come in the prettiest colors and the wristlet is included. The size is quite large and they are really well made. My favorite part about these is that they are vegan leather which means they are cruelty-free! Perfect for pairing with casual summer dresses and weekend outfits. Get them while they last. See my Instagram to see how I styled mine.
We’ve been having a lot of wind storms in Las Vegas lately. When that happens, I always break out a light jacket because I don’t like my shirt flying all over the place. This is a casual and functional go-to look. My top is a nursing tank so I’m always ready to feed my baby without much maneuvering of clothes. And these jeans are my new favorite. I love the edgy style and the zipper and cut-off detail at the ankles. They’ve been on repeat more than I care to admit. The best part—they’re on sale! Originally $189, they are now marked down under $50!
I’m obsessed with these sunglasses. The colors are so pretty! And the price point can’t be beat! The lenses are mirrored and shift from orange to pink depending on the light. They have a gold frame and go well with almost everything, love it!
The Barre espadrille wedges (#3) are the exact ones I bought and showed on my Instastories today. They run true to size and are pretty comfortable. Pink is a big trend color right now and it’s just so pretty that I had to grab these. The tone is pale which will be flattering to a lot of skin tones and will help give the appearance of elongated legs if you’re skin tone is more on the fair side.
The Eden sandals (#4) are basically identical to the ones I purchased and showed in my stories today, they’re just a different brand. This is such a great summer sandal. I love the toe ring design and they go with everything. Definitely a great go to sandal.
