From Rodarte to Vera Wang, there was plenty of plaid going down the runway during New York Fashion Week. It’s easy to see why this print is on trend and I’m so pleased it’s here to stay. Whether you’re a seasoned plaid aficionado or a newcomer to this trend, here are two looks to inspire you. Go bold in plaid by layering different shades of the pattern. Choose fabrics and garment shapes that are a bit different from each other to add dimension to your look. If you’re not ready to dive head in, accessorize with an over-sized scarf. Keep other accessories in the same shade family as the scarf to make the pattern really pop.
