Cruelty-Free, Vegan, Packable Puffer Jacket under $50!

Jacket: Old Navy (on sale, under $50!)| Top: Jella C (on sale under $20!)  | Jeans: Good American | Sock Booties: Steve Madden | Beanie: Boutique (similar here & here)

This puffer jacket is such a score! If you don’t know, most of the popular brand puffer jackets are filled with feathers. It’s not very animal-friendly and it is totally unnecessary. This one, however, is polyester-filled (which means it’s cruelty-free, YAY!), lined with fleece for extra warmth, comes in 6 colors, and is on sale right now under $50!!! I bought this to wear for our trip to Utah but I’ve already been wearing it non-stop here in Las Vegas. It’s lightweight but warm and you can still layer under it.

I also can’t stop wearing these Good American jeans. I’m seriously obsessed with this brand, the fit is so perfect. They stretch really well and fit every curve without being loose at the waist. If you haven’t tried Good American jeans, you’re missing out! They also look good on every body type and age. A friend of mine works at Nordstrom’s and sells these all day long; she says teenagers and older women alike buy these and they sell really well. Once you try them, you’ll see why they’re so popular. Don’t take my word for it, grab a pair!

Oversized Ruffle Sleeve Top

Top: Rebecca Minkoff | Jeans: KUT from the Kloth | Shoes: Lulus (similar here) | Bag: Style & Co. (similar here)

Ok I’m obsessed with this top. I’ve worn it like 3 times this past week alone. These sleeve are just so pretty and feminine. I love the eyelet detail and also the fact that its a double ruffle sleeve, yes! The material is light and airy— perfect for spring and summer. I also love the peplum-style waist, it’s so flattering. I do have to say though, the small snap button on the front is not my favorite, as it can easily come undone if I reach my arms back. I fixed that easily with some fashion tape though. Even so, this is still one of my favorite tops. It also comes in black!

This is one of my favorite go-to outfits when I don’t know what to wear or am too lazy to pick out an outfit. I like it for a few good reasons, 1) it’s comfortable, 2) it looks put together, and 3) it’s easy to throw on.  You just can’t go wrong with a white blouse, skinny jeans, and a good wedge. These jeans are in constant rotation in my wardrobe. I wear them almost every day. They are seriously so comfortable and they go with everything!

Another item heavy in my wardrobe rotation is this pair of wedges. They are so cute and they also go with everything. Don’t you just love it when you find an item that you can seriously style 100 different ways? The best part though is that these wedges are inexpensive, they’re under $35! They’re perfect for pairing with summer dresses, shorts, jeans, skirts. Really, they go with everything— I love it!

We’ve been having a lot of wind storms in Las Vegas lately. When that happens, I always break out a light jacket because I don’t like my shirt flying all over the place. This is a casual and functional go-to look. My top is a nursing tank so I’m always ready to feed my baby without much maneuvering of clothes. And these jeans are my new favorite. I love the edgy style and the zipper and cut-off detail at the ankles. They’ve been on repeat more than I care to admit. The best part—they’re on sale! Originally $189, they are now marked down under $50!

Zipper ankle jeans—yes please. I love love love this denim pair of Joe’s Jeans. They are soft, stretchy, and I absolutely love the raw hem and zipper detail. I’ve been wearing them with casual tops and sandals for a casual, everyday outfits but they look equally cool with dressier tops and heels. This is one of the more comfortable pairs of jeans that I’ve ever purchased. They’re currently on sale for 70% off!

I’m over winter and very much ready for spring. Just casually strolling around with no coat on in 50 degree weather pretending it’s not barely the beginning of winter.

Kut from the Kloth

KUT-3 KUT-5 KUT-6 KUT-1 KUT-9 KUT-7 KUT-8 KUT-4I recently discovered Kut from the Kloth jeans. Passing through the department store, in a rush to leave, I just grabbed them and paid for them without trying them on. When I slipped them on at home, they fit like a dream! It’s hard finding jeans that fit me well. If they fit from the the legs, the waist is too big, and conversely if they fit from the waist the legs are too big and they will be baggy on my bum. (*Sigh*) Not only are these jeans a perfect fit, they’re also super comfortable! I decided to order a couple more styles online, since they’re true to size I’ll know exactly how they’ll fit.

This wrinkly blouse, isn’t supposed to be wrinkly (I think). It’s made mostly of rayon, which is suuuuper soft but it also wrinkles like nobody’s business. That’s okay though, I don’t mind the trade-off one single bit. Sometimes it’s okay to be wrinkly, in fact, it’s better. Don’t believe me? Well then ask your grandparents, because senior discounts, that’s why!
