Oversized Ruffle Sleeve Top

Top: Rebecca Minkoff | Jeans: KUT from the Kloth | Shoes: Lulus (similar here) | Bag: Style & Co. (similar here)

Ok I’m obsessed with this top. I’ve worn it like 3 times this past week alone. These sleeve are just so pretty and feminine. I love the eyelet detail and also the fact that its a double ruffle sleeve, yes! The material is light and airy— perfect for spring and summer. I also love the peplum-style waist, it’s so flattering. I do have to say though, the small snap button on the front is not my favorite, as it can easily come undone if I reach my arms back. I fixed that easily with some fashion tape though. Even so, this is still one of my favorite tops. It also comes in black!

Animal Print Dress & Over the Knee Boots

Dress: Rebecca Minkoff | Boots: Steve Madden | Bag: Target | Tights: Revolve | Lipstick: Nars (in Damned)

We’ve had some kooky weather here in Las Vegas this past month. It’s mostly been warm with a few super cold days sprinkled in. We shot this look on one of those cold days when the temperature fell below 75. Last time I shared this dress, it was a warm weather look and here it is again completely restyled for cool weather. My boots are from last year but they’re back this year! I love them because they stretch and stay up really well (they also come in brown). Also, these over the knee boots are perfect for wide calves.

On another note, tomorrow is Halloween! Wow, the year has really flown by! Athena is almost 8 months old. I can’t believe she’s already going to experience her first Halloween. Seeing her in that chicken costume almost made me tear up. But looking at her adorable little face in that costume made me realize how quickly she’s growing up and that I need to treasure every single day with her. We did two costumes this year because we couldn’t decide on just one. In case you missed it, Athena and I dressed up as black cats in my last post. We haven’t decided which costumes we’ll use for tomorrow’s festivities but one thing is for sure, you’ll see it on my Instagram, lol. Have a safe and happy Halloween, everyone!

Animal patterns are a big trend for fall. But that’s not the reason I got this dress. To be honest, I didn’t even notice it had an animal pattern until the second time I wore it (I’m detail-oriented like that), lol. No, I got this dress because I fell in love with the shape! The cinching at the waist is super flattering, giving the illusion of a smaller waist. I also love how swingy the material is. The pattern is right on trend but it’s not an overbearing print. Also, the color is in the burgundy spectrum, which, again is right on trend for this season. I can’t wait to style it with boots! It’s so comfy and I also love the little tassel detail. It just went on sale so grab one before they sell out!

Las Vegas Summer Style in James Perse

Dress: James Perse | Jacket: H&M (under $40!) | Shoes: Target (under$40!) | Sunglasses: H&M (similar) | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (similar)

Those following for a while know that I love James Perse dresses! They are so comfortable, stretchy, soft, flattering, breathable, and versatile. It’s going to sound like and ad (it’s not) but you can wear them all year ’round and style them a variety of ways. The breathability of these cotton dresses is fantastic. I even wear my midi length dress during the Las Vegas summer and I don’t feel like I’m going to pass out from heat stroke. They really keep you cool.

As for this jacket, didn’t I say I was obsessed with it? I’ve been wearing it practically every day. It’s the best denim jacket I’ve ever found and it’s under $40! There’s still a good selection of sizes so grab yours while you can! It’s also breathable and the material is soft, stretchy, and stays cool. I’ve been wearing it in 100-degree weather to keep my arms and shoulders from being charred. So far, it’s been a success.

Lastly, I have to mention these wedges. They’re so comfortable! And they’re under $35! Whaaat? Yep. If you want to make your legs look longer, these are the perfect espadrille wedges for you, my friend. Also, these wedges go with everything! They’re perfect for summer.

Striped Midi Dress and Stilettos

A good trick to starting off your week on the right foot is a great outfit you feel good in. Mondays can be a drag so dress in one of your favorite outfits, have a green smoothie (energizing nutrients, yay!) and start your week right. I once read in an issue of Vogue a quote that really stayed with me, “Dress up to cheer up”. This really works! Clothes can totally transform the way you think and feel. Like when you wear your little black dress, you know, the one that hugs you in all the right places and makes your legs look a mile long. So dress up! I do every chance I get because when you have a 4 month-old baby and you work from home, you’re most likely gonna be wearing yoga pants and a drool-covered t-shirt a large portion of the time. If I’m being honest, my shirt is currently covered in spit up (and my yoga pants too) as I type this, lol.

Striped Midi Maternity Dress

Striped Midi Dress: Pink Blush | Tote: Rebecca Minkoff (similar) | Sunglasses: Dolce & Gabbana (similar) | Ankle Strap Pumps: Betsey Johnson (similar)

I recently discovered Pink Blush maternity dresses via Instagram and it could not have been at a more opportune time. I’ve had the same black leggings on rotation for about 3 weeks now, and while they’re currently one of my favorite bottoms to wear, I was craving some change. But finding stylish and comfortable clothes for a third-trimester pregnant belly is no easy task. If you are or have ever been pregnant, you know the struggle is real.

So naturally, when I was offered the opportunity to review an item from the Pink Blush website I was ecstatic. I probably spent a good 90 minutes trying to decide what to pick— there are SO MANY stylish options! Side note, one feature I really like about shopping on their website is that you can see what the item looks like both on a pregnant belly and a non-pregnant belly, love that! I finally decided to go with this striped maternity dress with plaid cuffs. It’s so soft and comfortable and I love the contrasting plaid cuffs but my favorite part– it has pockets! The midi length, three-quarter sleeve, and lightweight rayon fabric make this a perfect perennial piece; I can’t wait to style it for summer!

Black Ribbed Midi Dress

How cute is this little faux-fur puff charm? I absolutely loved Chanel’s “Karlito” and Fendi’s monster purse charms when I first saw them but the use of real fur was a big turnoff so I knew I wouldn’t be buying one. I had put it out of my mind but during a recent trip to Target I was passing by the accessories aisle and I spotted this faux-fur purse charm for $10 (also comes in navyblack and burgundy), it was a no-brainer. Kate Spade also makes some cute faux-fur purse charms.

Lake Las Vegas, beautiful all year ’round.

I’m beyond excited to share this dress with you guys. Midi dresses are some of my favorite pieces. Then length is so elegant and the material of this one is casual enough to be paired with sandals, flats, or heels; it’s super versatile. When we shot this look it was sunny but chilly so I opted for a cashmere cardigan from Donna Karan. I love any dress with YSL’s Tribute sandals, they instantly elevate any outfit. Later that day, after a few hours of errands, I switched to nude ballet flats but kept everything else the same and the look still worked.

Finding the line between casual, comfortable, and chic is the basis for the majority of my outfits. Versatility in every piece is very important to me so that’s what can be expected from my clothing line. This ribbed midi dress will be available for purchase a little later this month along with the rest of my collection.

Dress and boots

Fall is in full swing now here in Las Vegas and I’m all about these over the knee boots. I’ve been wearing them with everything. These particular boots are by Via Spiga. They have a suede-like hand feel and are very stretchy. I’m also a fan of Stuart Weitzman’s 5050 boot which very closely resembles this Via Spiga pair in both look and fit. Finding boots that fit my calves is nearly impossible so if you have this problem too, either one of these will work really well for you.

Wearing Anthropologie dress, James Perse long tank dress, Via Spiga boots (similar), Pretty Polly tights, Rebecca Minkoff bag (similar), and Tory Burch sunglasses.

Yesterday on Instagram I mentioned an announcement. I’m so excited to share with you guys that I’ll be launching a small clothing line on Etsy this fall! That’s the main reason behind my lack of posts these past 2 months. I’ve been designing, sourcing, and creating everything myself. It hasn’t been easy but it’s been a lot of fun and I can’t wait to share it when it goes live later this month. You can expect cool, casual, chic, and comfortable pieces (think Vince and James Perse with a touch of Donna Karan) in subtle tones for this first collection. Stay tuned 🙂
