Feeling so casual, cozy, and chic in this look. This sweater is seriously my favorite, it’s such a versatile piece. I styled it with leopard print pumps and a midi skirt in the last post, which you can see here. I also styled it in a gray monochrome look, which you can see here. Lastly, I also paired this same sweater with my favorite ripped jeans and canvas espadrille platforms for a super easy and casual look, which you can see on my Instagram here. If you’re looking for a super cozy, warm yet lightweight sweater, that’s also wool-free, look no further. This is the one you need, just click that link above and get cozy already!
Here’s the casual look I wore this past Sunday while volunteering downtown. I love how cute these canvas espadrilles sneakers are. It’s such a flexible shoe, they’re going te be perfect for spring and summer looks. The top and insoles are made of canvas. The outsoles are rubber and the platform is a beautiful espadille design. My guess is that your’e going to see them everywhere come summertime. They are super comfortable and are available in three different colors. Click the links above to shop them. You can also see a close-up video of these shoes and this sweater in my Instagram story highlights under the “style” tab.
This puffer jacket is such a score! If you don’t know, most of the popular brand puffer jackets are filled with feathers. It’s not very animal-friendly and it is totally unnecessary. This one, however, is polyester-filled (which means it’s cruelty-free, YAY!), lined with fleece for extra warmth, comes in 6 colors, and is on sale right now under $50!!! I bought this to wear for our trip to Utah but I’ve already been wearing it non-stop here in Las Vegas. It’s lightweight but warm and you can still layer under it.
I also can’t stop wearing these Good American jeans. I’m seriously obsessed with this brand, the fit is so perfect. They stretch really well and fit every curve without being loose at the waist. If you haven’t tried Good American jeans, you’re missing out! They also look good on every body type and age. A friend of mine works at Nordstrom’s and sells these all day long; she says teenagers and older women alike buy these and they sell really well. Once you try them, you’ll see why they’re so popular. Don’t take my word for it, grab a pair!
I had of lot’s questions about the details of this outfit when I posted it on Instagram last week and I’ve been dying to share it. This wrap top has the prettiest eyelet trim detail all around the neckline and sleeve. I bought it specifically to shoot a sponsored campaign, which by the way you should check out on my Instagram because we’re doing something awesome to help those in need. I needed a lightweight top that is easy to take care of but with lots of pretty detail so I went with this wrap blouse from Anthropologie. I think it was like, 114 degrees the day we shot this and we were outside for quite some time so naturally, the blouse got soaked in my sweat and wrinkled. So glamorous, right? Lol. Anyway, it doesn’t normally wrinkle that easily, it’s super pretty, and perfect for summer—such a good find!
I’m also obsessed with these little kerchief scarves from Anthropologie. They’re made of cotton (they have silk too but let’s keep our style cruelty-free) and they’re perfect for wrapping up your hair or around your purse like I typically do. Ok, last style obsession for today, these sunglasses. They’re sold out BUT, I linked two very similar pairs from the same designer. Which pair do you like best? I have to go with the gold-rimmed pair, the gold glimmers so beautifully in the sun! I’ve been wearing these non-stop because they go with everything and I love the oversized look!
ICYMI everything I wear and all the products I use are now and always will be vegan.
By the way, I linked some cute bow espadrille shoes that are similar to the ones I’m wearing and the linked options are made of vegan leather. In case you don’t watch my Instagram stories, I decided a while back to eliminate all animal products from my life. This includes shoes, handbags, and accessories that are made with animal products. So now everything I link is 100% vegan and cruelty-free! If you’re curious as to why I went vegan, there’s a post about it and you can read it here.
Ok you guys, today I have a special guest for you all.
Miss Athena Esmeralda joined me for the sponsored shoot we shot right before these pics. She wasn’t supposed to be in these outfits pics but she kept walking over to me, standing right in front of me staring, then asking me to pick her up. Lol, it was so cute. Her nanny Taryn, kept trying to entertain her to get her out of the shot but she just wanted mommy. So I thought I’d include some behind the scenes with Athena today. 🙂 I can’t handle that cute little face!!!
On the first day the temperature hit below 80, I immediately pulled out my boots and cardigans. We’ve been getting a few cold days here and there but its still mainly in the high 80’s here in Las Vegas. I don’t care though, I’m going to wear my boots, cardigans, and all my other fall pieces now even if it means sitting in my living room blasting the A/C. O
On another note, how nice is this double strap, gray satchel? It’s a Givenchy antigona dupe! It comes with a detachable cross body strap, just like the Givenchy version, except this one is made of vegan leather. Since switching to a vegan diet, I’ve also started switching all my shoes, handbags, and accessories to cruelty-free versions. I especially love finding vegan versions of popular designer handbags. If you know of any, leave your suggestions in the comments below. 🙂
Marc called this outfit “ballerina goes to business school”. Lol. I’ve been anxiously waiting to wear this sweatshirt ever since I first purchased it during the Nordstrom anniversary sale. And now the perfect weather has arrived! It’s finally starting to cool down, here, in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, this top sold out already. But I’m keeping my eye on it, in case it comes back. I love how soft this top is. The material is slightly thick, almost sweater-like but not quite, making it a perfect transitional piece. The fun ruffle accent is my favorite part. This top is something I’d typically never wear but I’m trying to add more color to my wardrobe and since having Athena, pink has become one of my favorite colors. I swear I loathed it with a passion before she came along. And now, well, I’m wearing this pink top, staring at pink bedding for Athena’s crib, and I just purchased pink curtains for her nursery. I don’t know what happening to me. It’s a good thing pink is trending right now!
I’m also really excited about these jeans. Black skinny jeans are a wardrobe staple and these are the perfect pair! Especially if you’re curvy. Finding skinny jeans for curvy girls, can be work. These hug you so well and they don’t sag. They’re also super comfortable, they fit true to size, and they go with everything; winning! Lol. If you’ve been looking for a pair of basic black skin jeans, look no further, you’ve found them!
I wore this look last Monday for a dinner with Vegas Lifestyle Influencers at Margaritaville. I can’t get enough of this breezy, layered ruffle top! I wanted a casual but chic look so I paired this ruffle top with my favorite new skinny jeans and a nude sandal. These jeans by Ashley Mason are soooo comfortable. They’re high-waisted, curve-hugging, and fitted at the waist (no gap!). These are seriously the best jeans for curvy women. Also, they’re $27!
I LOVE the fourth of July. Watching fireworks on a summer night with friends and family, what’s not to like? I also love playing with the day’s color scheme. If you’re not careful, it can be easy to look like Fourth of July threw up on you. I could have opted for red shoes but I chose to keep the red subtle in this outfit so as not to go overboard. So I added red lipstick, red trimmed sunglasses, and a red scarf. BTW, how cute is this animal print scarf? Love it! I absolutely love this embroidered stars top too, it’s not only perfect for Fourth of July but for all summer! The extra wide, oversized sleeves are dreamy! It also comes with a cami underneath since the top is crocheted. This is definitely an outfit I’ll be wearing many times this summer.
This off the shoulder blouse trend has been around for a while and it’s still going strong. I found this top at H&M and it was too cute to pass on. Apparently, everyone else thought so too because it already sold out. But I did link two very similar ones. This off the shoulder blouse has summer written all over it. It’s lightweight, casual, and effortlessly chic. Wear it with jeans or tucked into a skirt, either look is perfect for summer. Also, I have to talk about this hat again. It’s the perfect summer accessory and it’ll keep the sun off your face—so practical! And it’s under $20!
This is one of my favorite go-to outfits when I don’t know what to wear or am too lazy to pick out an outfit. I like it for a few good reasons, 1) it’s comfortable, 2) it looks put together, and 3) it’s easy to throw on. You just can’t go wrong with a white blouse, skinny jeans, and a good wedge. These jeans are in constant rotation in my wardrobe. I wear them almost every day. They are seriously so comfortable and they go with everything!
Another item heavy in my wardrobe rotation is this pair of wedges. They are so cute and they also go with everything. Don’t you just love it when you find an item that you can seriously style 100 different ways? The best part though is that these wedges are inexpensive, they’re under $35! They’re perfect for pairing with summer dresses, shorts, jeans, skirts. Really, they go with everything— I love it!
