Hawaii (Kauai) Vacation Outfits: Snakeskin Print Shirt Dress with Vegan Wedges

Dress: H&M (similar here, here, and here) | Shoes: Charles by Charles David (similar here & here)

Purse: Amazon (similar) | Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs | Hat: Zappos

Earrings: Nordstrom Rack (old, similar here & here)

Finally sharing another look I wore during our Kauai vacation a few weeks ago. Can you tell I’m wearing a bathing suit underneath this dress? Hahaha. We were headed to the kid beach at Lydgate Park in Kapaa on this particular day. I wore this look  during the earlier part of the day while we shopped and explored Kauai. Then as beach cover up with vegan leather sandals a low bun and oversized sunglasses (see last two photos) while we were at the beach. Snakeskin print can be so versatile and this style of dress can be worn and styled many different ways so for under $50, it’s an excellent buy. This dress is almost sold out but I linked a few other similar styles that are totally worth it for their versatility and comfort.

I got a lot of questions about these wedges and my hat. First, my shoes are made of vegan leather and are under $100. They’re pretty comfortable for walking around in all day and the cork wedge makes is perfect for spring and summer outfits. Now for my hat, I’ve had it for years and it’s a super popular style so it’s still current. It comes in a few different colors, I have both the white and the natural color. I love the extra large brim; perfect for protecting your delicate skin from the shoulders up as you lay on the beach for hours. You may wonder how you’d pack such a large hat for travel but this one you can fold up pretty easily and it springs back up once its unpacked. You can also use this travel hat box. I also highly recommend this travel box for storing and protecting multiple sunglasses and jewelry.

Hawaii (Kauai) Vacation Outfits: Yellow Floral Maxi Dress With Woven Straw Tote Bag

Dress: Nordstrom | Purse: Amazon | Earrings: BaubleBar | Sandals: Target

Sunglasses: Target (sold out, similar here)

This yellow kimono sleeve maxi dress has got to be the most comfortable maxi dress I’ve ever owned AND it’s on MAJOR SALE right now! It’s like, 40% off and you’re going to want to grab one asap before your size sells out. It’s the perfect summer dress! The cherry blossom print is adorable and the fabric is lightweight and flowy. I love a kimono-style sleeve maxi dress. The waist is a true wrap-style, meaning it’s not sewed together and you can actually open the dress and wrap it around. It ties at the waist with an extra long sash that flutters beautifully with the slightest breeze. I got so many compliments on this dress during our stay in Kauai. I think it’s because the flowy fabric makes this dress look so chic but still super casual due to the print. This dress shape is also super flattering on all body types. It covers imperfections and gives you a beautiful shape. I also wore it as a swimsuit cover-up and it can also be worn with wedges and a cute clutch to dress it up. It’s such a versatile piece.

I also have to tell you about these earrings which you can see in the 4th picture from the top. I first saw them on Rachel Parcell and instantly knew I needed them. The white floral shape is perfect for spring and summer looks. They’re made of white resin with a fabric covered center. I wore them with almost all my outfits in Kauai even though I brought lots of other styles, these are just so pretty and they really go with everything. They’re also available in a few other colors and prints.

Lastly,  I can’t wrap this post up without telling you about my $15 sandals. How pretty are these? Again, this is a style that goes with everything. I had these on repeat almost every day in Kauai. The ones I got are a muted gold color, but they also come in a beautiful tan leather as well as a few other colors. Best of all is that these are made of vegan leather. Finding cute vegan leather sandals can be tough, especially ones at such a great price point so I suggest you grab a pair before they’re sold out.

Really quick before I sign off if you’re in Kauai go to Anake’s juice bar (click here for their Yelp), get a Poipu Paradise smoothie bowl (without honey, to make it vegan) then walk across to this shopping center (The Shops at Kukuiula) and enjoy your bowl at a bench under the large trees. That’s what we did on this day for breakfast. Athena had so much fun chasing the birds while we enjoyed our smoothie bowls. There’s also a farmers market every Wednesday from 3:30-6. The produce selection is unbelievable and the prices are pretty great. I got a HUGE bag of fresh basil for $3!.

Black Linen Wrap Dress & Ark Bag

Dress | Shoes (similare here, here, & here) | Bag | Earrings (similar) | Lipstick

Ok friends, I have a few things to share with you all today. First, we shot this look a couple of months ago, but I’m just now getting around to posting it. I absolutely love this dress, and it’s under $100! It’s the perfect blend of rayon and linen. Which means the fabric has a good weight to it and it drapes beautifully. I love a good wrap dress but what sold me on this one were the pockets! Dresses with pockets are just the best, don’t you think? Anyway, this dress comes in 5 different colors; one option is a beautiful, light gingham print. I love the drop shoulder and the midi length. The cut and style are elegant enough to wear it to a more formal event, like dinner. But the fabric and drape make it more casual when paired with flat sandals and casual accessories, like a crossbody bag and a fun, long necklace. I’m so excited for fall weather, but I don’t think it will be arriving here in las vegas any time soon. So this is a good transition piece until then.

On another note, if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see that my interview on the DM Show Podcast is now live! It was my first podcast ever, and I was so nervous to record! I think it went well overall. Anyway, I linked it in my Instagram stories, but you can also listen to it on Apple Podcasts for free here. We spoke about veganism, vegan lifestyles, vegan babies, vegan fashion and beauty, and a there’s a bit about my personal life. Please go listen to it and let me know what you think!

I want to share all the things that inspire me to create a beautiful, happy, fulfilled life, that will help make the world a better place. There’s so much that I have planned and I’m beyond excited to share it all with you. I want to give back. I want to serve others. I want to do work that inspires and uplifts others. If you follow me on Instagram and you read those posts, you’ve seen a little glimpse of that in my latest sponsored post. I’m also working on covering more vegan, cruelty-free brands that are stylish and ethical. So watch out for that and make sure to subscribe to my newsletter so that you don’t miss anything. I’ll have some exclusive content on there including giveaways for subscribers only. Btw, newsletters only go out once every month.

Ok, that’s it for today. Hope you all have a beautiful Wednesday! Thank you to each and every one of you for following along, it means the world to me. 🙂 <3

Eyelet Wrap Top & Woven Round Handle Tote

Top: Anthropologie | Jeans: Nordstrom (sold out, similar here & here) | Bag: Boutique (nearly identical one here) | Sunglasses: Karen Walker (sold out, similar here & here) | Shoes: Forever21 (similar here & here) | Scarf: Anthropologie

I had of lot’s questions about the details of this outfit when I posted it on Instagram last week and I’ve been dying to share it. This wrap top has the prettiest eyelet trim detail all around the neckline and sleeve. I bought it specifically to shoot a sponsored campaign, which by the way you should check out on my Instagram because we’re doing something awesome to help those in need. I needed a lightweight top that is easy to take care of but with lots of pretty detail so I went with this wrap blouse from Anthropologie. I think it was like, 114 degrees the day we shot this and we were outside for quite some time so naturally, the blouse got soaked in my sweat and wrinkled. So glamorous, right? Lol. Anyway, it doesn’t normally wrinkle that easily, it’s super pretty, and perfect for summer—such a good find!

I’m also obsessed with these little kerchief scarves from  Anthropologie. They’re made of cotton (they have silk too but let’s keep our style cruelty-free) and they’re perfect for wrapping up your hair or around your purse like I typically do. Ok, last style obsession for today, these sunglasses. They’re sold out BUT, I linked two very similar pairs from the same designer. Which pair do you like best? I have to go with the gold-rimmed pair, the gold glimmers so beautifully in the sun! I’ve been wearing these non-stop because they go with everything and I love the oversized look!

ICYMI everything I wear and all the products I use are now and always will be vegan.

By the way, I linked some cute bow espadrille shoes that are similar to the ones I’m wearing and the linked options are made of vegan leather. In case you don’t watch my Instagram stories, I decided a while back to eliminate all animal products from my life. This includes shoes, handbags, and accessories that are made with animal products. So now everything I link is 100% vegan and cruelty-free! If you’re curious as to why I went vegan, there’s a post about it and you can read it here.

Ok you guys, today I have a special guest for you all.

Miss Athena Esmeralda joined me for the sponsored shoot we shot right before these pics. She wasn’t supposed to be in these outfits pics but she kept walking over to me, standing right in front of me staring, then asking me to pick her up. Lol, it was so cute. Her nanny Taryn, kept trying to entertain her to get her out of the shot but she just wanted mommy. So I thought I’d include some behind the scenes with Athena today. 🙂 I can’t handle that cute little face!!!

Easy Ripped Denim Look

Bodysuit: Yummie | Jeans: AGOLDE | Shoes: Steve Madden (old. Similar here and here) | Bag: I.N.C. (old. Similar here)

We shot this look a few weeks ago during the beginning of summer. It was blistering hot so I opted for an easy, casual outfit that still looked put together. I ended up with this white long sleeve bodysuit, my new favorite pair of ripped denim jeans, and I finished the look off with nude pointed toe pumps and a nude purse. You know those super hot summer days where you don’t really want to wear much or even accessorize because you’re just going to end up covered in sweat? Yeah, this was one of those days.

I really love this body suit though because it has a shaping effect and it’s really lightweight. It’s just barely, slightly sheer but I wore a nude bra underneath and wasn’t worried about it. It’s so stretchy and comfy and I know I’ll also get a lot of use out of it during fall and winter. Long sleeves are typically not a good idea here in Las Vegas but the material on this bodysuit is so lightweight and breathable that the sleeve actually serve as protection from the sun without making you feel like you’re burning up. I love this piece!

Twist Front Midi Dress

Dress: Zara (sold out, similar here, here, and here) | Shoes: Callisto | Bag: Amazon | Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters | Earrings: vintage (similar here) Lipstick: Kat Von D (a go-go) | Lip liner: Kat Von D (a go-go)

Summer has officially arrived but I didn’t need a calendar to tell me that. No, here in Las Vegas, the temperature was already crossing the 100-degree mark well before June 21st. While I’m loving the longer daylight hours, I’m not really a fan of this 110-degree weather; but I am loving all of the cute summer dresses I found at Fashion Show Mall last week. This dress is from Zara but it’s already sold out! I can see why, it is SO comfortable. I’m keeping a lookout to see if gets restocked because now that I’ve worn it I want to buy another. Plus it was only $29! I’ll let you guys know if it comes back in stock. I’ve linked other similar dresses with the cute twist front detail.

Is there anything more summery than a bright orange lip? I’m loving this color from Kat Von D, it really pops and goes so well with just about everything. I’m wearing the color “a go-go” in both the liquid lipstick and the lip liner. Did you know Kat Von D is vegan? Yep, she is, and so is her makeup line. The entire line is vegan and cruelty-free! Ok lastly, I also have to mention how awesome these wedges are. They are super comfortable and they go with everything! The come in tan and black and they’re made of vegan leather. They do run large so I advise sizing down by a whole size.

Oh and I almost forgot about one of my favorite items! I can’t end this post without mentioning one of my favorite pieces of shapeware. These Spanx mid-thigh shaper shorts are one of the best pieces of shape wear I’ve ever worn, and trust me, I’ve tried a lot. They’re so comfortable to wear, even in 110 degree weather. They’re breathable, lightweight, they stay in place and perfectly smooth everything out but don’t make you feeling like they’re squeezing the life out of you (lol), and they don’t have that annoying plastic trim on the inside thigh seam like other shapers do. I highly recommend them! They come in black and nude.

I have to admit, I threw together this outfit in like 2 min. I’d been dying to wear this skirt, which a friend of mine, I won’t say who Lexi, said was hideous. The moment I saw it in store, I instantly knew it’d be coming home with me. What’s not to love, it’s so poofy and fun! Lexi told me that she’d never go out in public with me if I wore this skirt but I look like a goddamn princess so I’m sure she’ll be dying to have lunch with me as soon as she sees this post. Yep, this was a great purchase. *pats self on back* Now if I could just find a tiara.

Dress: Amazon Fashion | Shoes: Target (similar) | Bag: Amazon Fashion |

Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs (on sale!)

Would you believe this dress is $30? Well, believe it! I’ve been wanting to order clothing from Amazon for the longest time but was hesitant given the low price point. I thought the quality would be bad. Nevertheless, I bit the bullet and I’m sure glad I did. Both my bag and dress are from Amazon and I love them! This dress comes in a wide variety of colors and prints. It’s so light and airy, perfect for this Las Vegas desert heat. My bag is a dupe of the Cult Gaia Ark Bag (which is sold out everywhere) but it’s only half the price! I ordered the large size and it’s perfect. It easily holds my phone, wallet, lipstick + much more. It’s also very well made; the bamboo pieces are smooth and well connected. This bag is so unique and perfect for summer that it’s no wonder it’s sold out everywhere. But you can still get the dupe on Amazon! I’m also obsessed with my new sunglasses. They’re part of Nordstrom’s anniversary sale. The sale ends on August 6th (only 5 days left!) so check it out and score some amazing deals before then!

Top: Anthropologie | Pants: Mavi (similar)  | Bag: Amazon (half the price of Cult Gaia version!) | Bandana: Anthropologie | Shoes: Steve Madden (similar) | Sunglasses: Tory Burch (similar) | Earrings: old (similar)

We shot this look last week on the 4th. Clearly, I was really feeling the holiday 🙂 I’m loving this ruffle sleeve top I found at Anthropologie. Although, every time I look at it, all I can think about is my shopping expedition that day. If you saw my Instastories last week,  you’ll remember the incident I had with Athena in the dressing room that day at Anthropologie, lol. This red animal print bandana is also an Anthropologie find. It’s so cute and it comes in different colors! I love adding little details like this to bring a look together. And not to bury the lead, this gorgeous bamboo handbag is a Cult Gaia dupe! I absolutely love it! It’s only half the price! It’s so perfect for summer outfits. Make sure to follow me on Instagram where I’ll be talking about the size, how much it holds, and showing it in close-up detail.
